Jacob Bissell is a master’s student in ethnomusicology. He received his B.M. in Music Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX) and previously served as a board-certified music therapist in the greater San Antonio community. His research interests include the intersections of gallery arts, performance, and concert music, particularly within the context of contemporary sound art practices.
